Over here, most of what we get through established media is little more than populist rhetoric. That's why they are so hard to believe when they actually get something right. 

I read Peter Zeihan's books. Then started following him on Youtube. His predictions have just been too exact to ignore.  That's when I began to appreciate geopolitics. There you can find the reasons for the inflation, and why Europe is in its present situation. For the war in Ukraine, I look at Good Times-Bad Times, the Caspian Report, and DW news if you can believe it. Our news may report the same things. It's just to difficult to filter out all of the noise. Good Times-Bad Times, and Caspian report share all of their sources and provide links to review them yourself. I'm sure there must be a couple Geopolitical experts in Ireland. Maybe they have a few books or a YouTube channel you can look at?

I find with all modern media it's a case of looking for what they are not saying  rather than what they are saying...just because it's say tiktok, telegram, youtube  ect  doesn't mean it's incorrect but at the same time it's often narrative loaded soundbites and not the full picture and the same can be said for MSM ,they all know how to play to our confirmation biases.

Well, point of fact I am well stocked. 

 

But I kind of think things will slowly calm down. The worse we'll see is a continuation of people moving to either red or blue states.
