Russia and China are buying up influence and control in South America, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Far East, South East Asia, Russia is complicit in the attempted coup in Sudan, and in Yemen, hoping for a naval base on the Red Sea, they’ve invaded Crimea, Georgia, Chechnya and other central Asian countries, so let’s not say “West bad; East good”.

It was known in the 19th century as “the great game” involving Britain and Russia, and has been going on ever since.

You can choose between two very imperfect systems: The Democratic West, where you at least have a vote on who is your government; or the Autocratic East Where you would be persecuted and jailed for having the temerity to want a vote!

The choice is easy for me !

Cheers.
