Borr 6,535 Posted April 12, 2022 Report Share Posted April 12, 2022 Well if it was gonna end through negotiation, presumably zelenskyy would have to concede the east of Ukraine allowing Russia to take swathes of the country...outside of that, it is probable Putin has no way out without losing face at the cost of tens of thousands of Russian soldiers. So it either escalates of zelenskyy concedes. He's muted not applying to NATO which they wouldn't get in anyways. Putin want to wipe out Ukraine, it's a question of Russian expansion or European really. The Ukrainians are buying us time to organise defences , Europe has allowed this to , happen including us .
