......but now we are abusing, deporting and taking all the money off Russians who have lived here in peace for years....

Funny old world isn't it....

I reckon you could even get away with abusing Russian 'foreigners' in the street, maybe even force them to the back of the bus!

....if people can't see how they are being played as mugs they must be fcking stupid

Lordy u really are soaking up all of Putins Bot output ?

The average Russians national living in the uk aren't having sanctions on their  business or property just the oligarchs linked to Putin and Russian companies/banks etc in reply to the putins invasion of a sovereign state. I've spoken to two Russians in the UK this week,  both were against the invasion.

As to the oligarchs living peacefully

It's like it's turning into a chance for a bit of an adventure for some lads.

Well it's an opportunity for some, more to find a cause and purpose than adventure maybe. I'm sure even delivering much needed goods to refugees will be enough and they're doing good in the world , can't fault them, and at least the Ukraine embassy is realistic in their requirements, and there'll be a few veterans that'll be welcomed to it....

In case you're wondering how deeply the dirt is ingrained:

Evgeny Alexandrovich Lebedev, Baron Lebedev (born 8 May 1980) is a Russian-British businessman, who owns Lebedev Holdings Ltd, which in turn owns the Evening Standard, The Independent and the TV channel London Live. He inherited his wealth from his father, Alexander Lebedev who is a Russian oligarch and former KGB officer.

In July 2020, Lebedev was nominated for a life peerage by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a move that drew criticism. British security services warned that granting Lebedev a peerage posed a national security risk, but Johnson went ahead with it despite the security service assessment. Lebedev has sat in the House of Lords as a crossbench life peer since 19 November 2020. The New York Times wrote in 2022, "nobody is a better example of the cozy ties between Russians and the [British] establishment than Mr. Lebedev."

Think there's an enquiry, I'd be surprised if Boris over rode security advice but... Not shocked, they've obviously had far too much sway in the UK and UK has allowed too much dirty money and influence from Russia and China and Arab interest , this will hopefully be the beginning of a clean up and maybe an improvement in security, think China may have had years of work and influence wiped out by Russia actions, be interesting how their relationship changes. Europe NATO and allies will be increasing military spending and security .
