each area has mounted units mate or did stables etc

They tend to have volunteer mounted sections, and when needed horses and riders come down to other areas.  But main head quarters abs stables of mounted unit is in Milton Keynes

Kin el, sheepy!!  How old are you?!  you've lived and worked in a dozen or more countries, have a degree in ancient history, modern history, psychology  criminology,  ran/owned a nightclub, you speak 8 or 9 languages, are fluent in 'swahili', 'afrikaans, and god knows what else, you've owned and worked several different lurcher crosses etc, and been farming for a few years!!

Not sure, but think you said recently, you are 35.  You must've started when you were 3 years old!!

Not a dig at you really, but stone the crows, how the f**k have you packed all that into such a relatively short space of time?!

Or, like I said before, am I missing something here?

Ps, don't throat punch me, if you happen to pass me somewhere.  ?

?

?

I get this alot.

I'm older than SC but also managed to cram a fair bit into the time I've had.

I think some people are just designed that way? I did a shit load of different things for short periods of time in lots of different places. It's a great way to collect cool stories and meet interesting people.

The bit I find funny is that when I came home / down hardly anything had changed for everyone else while everything had changed for me.

Interestingly I now live less than a mile from where I grew up and hunt the same land I did as a kid. Full circle i guess.

Very very true. Also makes me laugh that we’ve lived very similar lives and met on THL when we both retired from the madness..... and look where we are now ?

As someone once said the quality of a mans life can be measured by the quality of his friendships.

That's what life is for "living" and experiencing as much as possible in the time we got .
