my lads mrs got a french bulldog its had ops to sort its eye lids . ears ,face skin , mouth ,its on steriods for a skin issue,  it even had hair growing on its eyes , its a cracking little dog ballsy and good natured but  its a shame its had to go through so much , its insured they recon its had 4k`s worth of work they`ve got a staff n 2 borders that have cost em fook all ,

Long before the price of dogs went mad all the local loons had french bulldogs as well as there lurchers and terriers whilst getting £250  a lurcher or terrier pup a unregistered french bulldog pup was £750

About time someone did something , we'll all die of old age if we wait for the kennel club to do anything .It’s only there ever changing breed standards that got these dogs into the pitiful wrecks they are today , bulldogs that can’t breath , have eye and serious bone problems , spaniels that have  ears dragging along the floor , and labs that couldn’t jump on a chair let alone clear a five bar gate with a pheasant in their mouth …that’s without the mess toy / miniature breeds are in ..well done indeed Norway

There’s documentary on Amazon prime I think two of them one American based one New Zealand about showing chickens very interesting usual dramatic scenes for tv but most interesting thing I found was there still studying different breed standards from breed standard book written over 100 years ago and breeding and judging the birds on that standard
