just wondering what methods of poaching people used to or still use :whistling: a bloke once told me to get a long stick with wire forming a loop at the end like one of those things the rspca use to catch dogs, and use a lanp to startle the phesant and use the wire to catch it, can't see it working myself.

ITS A SNARE ON THE END IT DOES WORK BUT ITS BETTER ON GROUND ROOSTING BIRDS AT NIGHT PARTRIGE,SNIPE,WOODCOCK ETC OR SO IM TOLD :whistling:

listen me wee fruit cake, get your self a little air gun, go in to the nearest wood that holds shoots on a regular basis armed with a little tourch and your air rifle and blast f**k out of the pheasants while they are sleeping , they will sit in the tree's till you hit them, take a decent sized bag though, thats if your a good shot like :whistling:
