Like the belt clip on the fisco.

Now, I must say, Don; Belt Clips! Fukk Me! If Milwaukee made their squat one, with a belt clip that actually clipped and stayed clipped? I'd pay fukking double!

I'm sick and fukking tired of putting my one on my belt. Not walking the length of the fukking thing and hearing that oh so familiar Clatter!!! :censored:

Christ, I'm sick and tired of those Useless clips! I don't even give them a thought any more. Complete waste of time. Just carry the fukking tape in my hand.

Then, stretch it out along a length of 2 x 2. Get my pencil out and, once more, hear that clatter. As I glance up to see fourteen foot of poxy steel tape, twisting its way toward me!!!

Nope. The Red Toad it'll be, for me.

Ive got 3 or 4 tapes around my van and shed the ones in my van i stick the same make . Seen a picture where different brands give different measurments so i make sure their all the same . I go for stanley , theyre reasonably cheap , its not end of the world if you drop them and their readibly available in every building type shop. Like everything nothing is built to last and if they end up getting used in the rain or get dropped in water its a downward spiral from there on . Never tend to get to attached to tapes , get pissed off when i blunt a saw tho

A set of Stanley Tylon is probably the best value for money and they are good tapes. Milwaukee is the dogs dangles at the minute, but you do pay for it. 100% keep that Stanley knife even if you decide to take it apart and repaint it. I struggle to find a Stanley knife worth having these as there's too much safety going on between non-locking and self-retracting I find them a waste of time compared to a proper one.

I bought a hultafors knife recently and its up there with stanley ,its easy to change the blade (you can unscrew the wheel by hand) inside the knife is a blade holder full of blades ready and the blades that come with it are insanely sharp

They look handy I might give one a try. I find a non-retractable invaluable at times as long as your careful and don't stick it in your leg.

The belt clip is the reason I keep going back to em myself that and the plastic end which doesn't bend if dropped.

:good: On my list. Thanks! My old Stanley? The damn blade slips back in as ye using it. Can't see an obvious cure for that, so I could do with a new one.

Actually; I saw a chube where they said a new model of Milwaukee ~ ironically! ~ was the absolute bollocks.

Can't remember which one now though. Shame. I'd quite like them to find more Milwaukee gear, when I'm dead.
