RossM 8,119
Of isolating I can get the dugs a half decent walk… first thing I see when I park up was the sign, what constitutes “suspicious” and how would it differ from the posh boy who hadn’t seen his two weemememeers (weimaranera) for half an hour after they took off after deer? Does he get reported? it’s getting to the stage beyond silly now. anyway good to get a couple of miles in with the dugs. 8 Quote Link to post

chartpolski 23,272
Anyone with a running dog is "suspicious" ! People with every other type of dog walk all over the fields around here with impunity, try it with a running dog and the farmer, 'keeper or some busy body with a mobile phone will be on you, even had the police helicopter on me a few times as ive walked the two fields from my house to my Allotments. Even had the 'keepers at my door, even though there is a public right of way across the fields, and I confirmed with the land owner, the local council, that I'm allowed to walk across the fields. Owning a running dog these days marks you out as a potential criminal....... Cheers. 1 Quote Link to post

That’s what was going through my mind, dare I say it’s classed as discrimination against certain breeds/ dog type owners? I mean they couldn’t even go down the hunting dog types as at least 70% of dog breeds could be classed as that. Quote Link to post

But if your on land that doesn't have livestock on ie arable land crops an your dogs off an there's public right of ways an a wild animal jumps up an your not in view of your dog then there's f**k all they can do. Even if it jumps up in front of you there's nothing you can do. I gave this dog a home from kennels guys an old couple had it from a pup made it feral as it just used to sit on arm chair sad really. Sorry about that guys blar blar blar. All good your on your way. Edited January 14, 2022 by Bangersanmash 2 Quote Link to post
