I have only ever read 3 biography’s ever, most of them just don’t appeal to me.

Niven wasn't just a great actor, he gave up his Hollywood career to join the British army, and ended up a Colonel in Phantom brigade, a special forces unit. The epitome of the British gentleman !

Watch my back by Ron Thompson?( i think that's the fella's name) was a good read and not just a meat head doormans book like most are/have been..

Geoff Thompson ;) And so, may I suggest " Working With Warriors " by Dennis Martin? Also, the film " Clubbed " might be of interest :)

Tbh ,if you didnt know who wrote it ,you would be nodding your head at some of his thoughts ...and then some of it ,if you changed the word 'Jewry ' for fuzzywuzzy then you could be reading one of sheepchasers posts .

Cheers.

I read "The Moons a balloon" over 50 years ago. I was shocked! As Shirley Valentine said: "I've lived such a little life". It was a revelation to see how the other half fornicate. ??
