Funny how guys end up with similar interests. Lots of members interested in: lurchers, terriers, fishing, shooting, cage  birds, poultry, boxing, football metal detecting, snooker, darts falconry. With me, ever since I was a kid, it's been anything that moves.....starting off with beatles, butterflies and worms as a toddler and moving on to fishing ferreting etc etc. Wonder if it's in the blood or what?

This guy wasn't birdwatching, well, he might have been but had a metal detector with him on land he shouldn't have been on, the last I heard he was getting prosecuted? I wonder how much is found and just gets sold on discretely, out of sight out of mind, finders keepers and all that ?

You've never lived till you get that big pull on the line. Just been out with the dogs and one saw a cat and pulled on the lead. My first reaction was" its a pull on the line, strike!" Give  it a try mate. You'll be hooked.??

He's in a good place up near Carlisle for all that, still, like dogging, I bet the place has been hammered.

Still, he is still finding regularly when out.

I bet there's some good finds to be had on the Thames.

Where are these dogging sites? Asking for a friend...
