Evening guys hope this post is allowed.  I have recently learnt how to colour black and white photos on Photoshop. I've been doing some of sighthounds and posted them on  Instagram (sighthoundsin

Cheers pal.  My only other one so far, hoping to do one tonight.    These are sighthounds on display in the USA in the year 1940. Not sure of any other details.

I once sent a cheque to some random retailer for one of his books. The cheque came back direct from him. With an apologetic note that the book not was ready for publication and the money should stay in my account. It was like £10. An officer and a gentleman.

Difficult to find fault looking at the picture with only a front view. Could be too long or short. Hocks look a little high and stifle too upright. Possible turned out elbows on both. Very good heads, necks a bit short?

Put it this way, all I've seen them catch is rat, squirrel, myxi rabbit and the odd hare in a ditch. Lol

I wouldn't consider one if hunting is the game although when brought on they are decent finders.

Yeah, they have a fighting history. My old man's first akita was a nightmare with other large dogs, mangled loads of dogs, rottweilers, shepards, mastiffs, he once snapped a german shepards dogs leg when it bolted out the house and went for him. He was too dog aggressive and could do a lot of damage. I had one of my lurchers when he was alive at the time,  it was around 4 year younger than him. Every now and again we'd hear the lurcher squealing, it sometimes used to try and eat his snap that he'd left but when the mood took him right he'd thrown the lurcher to the ground and pin him there. Lol

I couldn't see a Ridgeback living with him mate, he wasn't just powerful he knew where to go. Seen him shake a bigger than him Rottie/Doberman like a rat when he grabbed it on the back and he knew what he was doing when he snapped the dogs leg, he was dangerous. Maybe he was worse than the average specimen who knows. When he was 11 a big wolfhound went for him but had it backing off, bloat usually sees them off in the end.

This one I've got has showed signs of being funny with dogs but he's straight on the lead when I see another dog, it'll be the last I get, they are a liability.
