Evening guys hope this post is allowed.  I have recently learnt how to colour black and white photos on Photoshop. I've been doing some of sighthounds and posted them on  Instagram (sighthoundsin

Cheers pal.  My only other one so far, hoping to do one tonight.    These are sighthounds on display in the USA in the year 1940. Not sure of any other details.

Great picture ,like most black white photos of travelling people it looks older than it really is ,you got to remember the cloths they had wasn't the fashion of the day but what they had picked out the rags they had monged around the doors when out hawking ,I'd say the pic was taken 1960s ,

This photo is old ,it's me great aunt .

Second pic is me mums old friend Bella gaskin taken 1970s

Bottom pic taken 1960s but looks older

I have a feeling i've seen it in a book many years ago and they were Norfolk warreners and if so chances are they are from the Breckland area of Norfolk as that was where most of the massive managed warrens were, there's still a few rabbit castles/keeps about up there where they used to keep the rabbits they had killed as they were worth a lot of money...

It's in a book called the "rabbit" and it's definitely Norfolk and like fireman says its probably breckland, they was Warren's all over the UK not just Norfolk, I was at the estate house looking at old maps and one had drawings of rabbits running around the edge of the map and they was several Warren's marked down ,the main one being Triangaler lodge and other one was weekly rabbit warren ,

Triangaler lodge is still standing and still as coney on its grounds ,the rabbit wasn't a pest back then but a valuable food source and also the pelts
