well after waiting for ages for one to cone into stock i bought the first available complete set up.looked at am but with no gauge i gave them a miss.no titanium ones available so they were out too.so a ratworks one turned up and is now on the gun.piece of piss to fit just a bit longer and total weight saving of about 220grams.not a lot but it does feel a little lighter and as i only shoot standing i suppose every little helps.hopefully shot count is up a little too.just need to check in the morning to see if it leaks.no problems filling it up either.so fingers crossed.

A saving of 220grms is half a pound off the forend so pretty good compared to a standard tube, then you want to try a lightweight scope and you really will see the difference.

no that is the carbine.will put the new hw silencer on it soon too.

well it has made a difference.today i shot another round of lsr comp cards and got 194 ex 200.so pretty happy with the results.balance has not been changed but i can now shoot 10 shots very easily without having to put the rifle down.gun just feels better.

so no leaks and the shot count is 105 per fill.would rate this upgrade highly.got it from solware good service no problems their either.looks like for the money this really is a bargain.

couple of goes this morning and thing are getter better.scores not what they were 10 or so years ago but they are not to bad as i only pratice once a week now.both targets are 20y standing as the lsr comp .

shot count for a carbine was allready good at 84 but any increase allways helps.did look up a thread where a fella put a much longer barrel on his and played with all sorts of adlustments and he got his shot count to over 220.

To be honest, I’d been thinking about a 12ft lb crown in .177, the only thing is, I think I’d be paying for adjustability that I can’t really use. Also, the money would be better spent towards a thermal spotter. Anyway, must use my hw100 more, wouldn’t mind a lighter cylinder on it though, and a few more shots per fill would be a bonus.
