If you mean brown hares, well, I've hunted both sides of the border for many years and find no difference in them.

If you mean white mountain hares compared to brown hares, that's a completely different game.

It’s the same with all quarry , the more it’s run the better it will be in certain areas , hares in Lincoln / Cambridge and east York’s will be diff class to hares in jock land for this reason .

The size of land in Scotland you won’t get many long runs , correct me if I’m wrong
