Bird flue case are at an all time high.

So should we be encouraged to attempt to decrease numbers of certain species before another disaster appears, the destruction of British chickens and eggs?

Or will the vegan agenda over rule!

Our chickens are still out, they're keen to tell us promptly about cattle, sheep and pigs but heard bugger all from animal health so far about chucks, so they carry on with thier freedom

I didn't mean decrease the chucks Gav lol. I mean crows, geese and gulls for starters

Been a couple of weeks since I was at the chicken farm and they had lost 2000 to bf:(

not sure about the extent of it now but there’s 40,000 on that farm

Its full lockdown on all poultry, has been for a bit. Have a look on .gov. I'm sure plenty of people are ignoring it but fines are supposed to be quite fierce if you get caught

We've locked ours up Not much fun for them but can't risk inspection as guaranteed they'd want to start going through everything on farm. I mean all my sheep movements paperwork & tagging are totally up to date of course...

We had inspection again last week he said bugger all about chickens and more bothered about containers taking up grazing we claim for all our tags (quite a few red now, bloody rylock), movement etc we're tickety boo (wife's job )

It's them bloody starlings pal, seen one with a flick knife and a fag out the side of its beak mugging an ole lady other day, just look at what protection has done, gone to thier heads. Thousands of them now again, mobsters of the avian kingdom I tell you
