The stats also suggest that a lot of passive smokers are ‘non smokers’ who only smoke when they drink on socially, so non smokers who actually smoke a pack a week

Most people were to be fair mate. Round my old way the biggest threat to health is the air and I’m being totally serious when I say that.

You know that the reactions from drinking and the effects of passive smoking are completely different even if you won't admit it. How were there any passive smoking effects if I wasn’t around anyone ? It’s only maybe harming me. And yet you can eat three Big Macs and drink a pack of lager and that’s fine

We both know the indirect effects of smoking and alcohol are completely different but if you want to keep arguing the toss that's fine..

Of course not, it was child abuse, people were up in arms back then about beagles forced to smoke B&H in a lab, no one gave a f**k about kids forced to inhale at home due to dopey parents.

My whole family coughed our guts up for 6 weeks when we first moved here mate and I still smoked then. I firmly believe it was our lungs clearing out. Go back now to visit and I can literally taste the air, it stinks…..hard to describe but the best way I can put it is that it’s like breathing in dirt. No wonder nearly every kid in my kids classes were on some kind of medication. I think mine were just about the only ones that wasnt.

Alcohol causes as much or more misery as tobacco. But ultimately the issue here is that I don’t believe a government should be quite so able to tell us what we can and cannot do. Self determination is incredibly important and something no government should be able to take away from us. 2

On the way home you plough into a bus full of disabled children. if you manage to avoid the bus, heaven forbid what’s in store for your wife when you get home and she’s burnt your pie and beans. 1 2
