8 hours on foot!

Recommended Posts

Just popped out for a duck and goose on this wind with the 10g.

Got nothing but royally soaked! But, it was grand seeing several woodcock flighting on dusk, not seen so many for years. Brought back memories from flighting them on dark and my labs retrieving them. Good times.

I don't like snow, except on a moon lit night, little wind, binos and a rifle and stalk Charlie or call him.

I use to sit in a high seat/box all night over a stink pit after a good snow fall. Wrapped up and a large flask of hot chocolate. Pee bucket up there too. Crows would fly around as though it was daylight! Watching Charlie was amazing. Some come in very cautiously and some would just rock up.

Good times.

Very interesting,  must have some tales to tell. I dont like the snow now that I'm older but enjoy stalking if it's not crunchy.
