I still have red blotches all over me!! I feel not only sorry for the NHS but very afraid for when I need the NHS! It's broken!! My daughter works there, she says it's broken!! A member of my family was in a&e this morning, they told her the NHS is broken! A friend of my wife, her daughter is getting out of the NHS! It's broken ☹ 1 Quote Link to post

I’d rather pay into private and get a quality service 2 Quote Link to post
Sausagedog 7,381
Private health care insurance would be a hell of a lot cheaper than NI contributions/tax. 2 Quote Link to post
Stavross 15,349
My missus is an accountant for the NHS and the hole system is just a numbers game, ( a completely broken numbers game at that ) doctors don’t run hospitals, accountants do and once you start getting into management positions the wages and pensions are unbelievable compared to the private sector, I know there’s people there that genuinely want to make a difference but there’s also a lot of people in the NHS that are just there for the money/pension and job security, if you can afford private health care I’d strongly recommend it because it might not be there as it is now in a few years time 2 Quote Link to post
David.evans 5,323
I just feel really sorry for the old folk that don’t have the funds for private medical insurance, then have to go to hospital and don’t come out again BROKE is f****n right 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
NHS nearly killed me back in 2008 , never trusted them since . Had to have a op a few years ago and went private 2 Quote Link to post

Until you are actually ill and need a lot of care, then watch the premiums rise. I just read about a bloke in the USA that got a dose of covid and had to be ventilated. After his hospital stay he got a bill for $1.3 million dollars. I watched a video last week on youtube about homeless people in the USA, most of them are homeless because they got sick and lost everything. I will stick with the NHS thanks. 2 Quote Link to post
BenBhoy 4,706
NHS all the way here. They kept my son alive against all the odds. Forever grateful to them. I fundraise for them & doing a present dash in couple of weeks for kids spending Christmas in Nottingham hospitals. Thank you NHS ❤ 2 3 Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
I've not been before, not a fan of the NEC. Is it worth it, the Game Fair was a let down this year? Quote Link to post
