Our well was 310 ft deep.I doubt it would have ever overflowed lol. Ours is about 8 feet to the surface of the water which is above the level of the roof of the school at the bottom of the hill . Only time i have used white wash believe it or not was when a trainee down the pit we were in a white washing gang spraying the steel arches in the roadways down the pit. Bloody stuff never saw the point in it was rubbish stuff. Was in the out side loo and the larder. Thats another thing we had no fridge just a larder and big concrete slab self and damp as f**k.
