All the best bud ,my mate just got a whippet dog pup ,he travelled up Wigan to get him and he's well chuffed with him ,little stunner just like yours  

My old whippety thing nearly 14 now and he was great little worker ,strange he never caught a day time rabbit unless ferreting but took hares along with other stuff ,

I know a lot rate them above whippet lurchers. the bitch I have is a excellent finding, marking, mooching dog, but lacks a few yards. I have bought her to work with her, plus having not lamped for nearly 30 years, I quite fancy a shine with her.
