Having hunted for many years with JD & seeing his dog's in action all over the country & further afield too I have no doubt his new writing's will be worth a read..he puts in the hard miles season after season to work,test his own pooches plus the dog's of other like-minded enthusiastic owners who he walks out with throughout the winter month's too..he's a honest,genuine sound lad & he's one of less than a handful in this world who I would entrust with my life if it came down to that..the books will be worthy of a place on the bookshelf I'm sure of that

whatever people think of his writing ,fact or fiction its entertaining, as was plummer  but for me its the photography ,

theres no fiction there       he can take a good photo

Plenty on here like that , always will be but at the end the day doesn’t matter wich part the country there from what they hunt , there just men with dog , nothing more , nothing less ,

Looking forward to them, it’s been a while since anything for dog lads has been out, the last being his lamping book.  It’s clear to see there has  been many days/nights and miles out in to get those pics.

Just received the lurcherwork 4 and pursuit of the largest.  Look great with superb photos.  Not read any yet  but both look good.   The pursuit of the largest looks like it will have some good articles about big game.   Boar.  Stags

Both the lurcher books are top shelf
