Good post mate, we used to drive stubbles and run the dogs off the back of a pick up at one of my pals areas. You could cover a big area in the night, get upto groups of animals and keep up with the chase. Sometimes you’d jump off and walk in, other times you stay on the truck and hang on for your life.
