The dog is now 3 year old and lamps every week with obvious problems, and catches it's fair share. Hope yours makes a full recovery 1 Quote Link to post

All the best with it Not always mate, my uncles spaniel bitch has never been the same since his old spaniel flattened it when it was a pup and broke it's leg. Lot of Greg hound men have said it 50/50. She 9 weeks old now. This happen a week today. She had X-rays and now on cage rest. She come out to have a walk and stuff and is now starting to use that leg more and more so I am hope full. Many thanks for your reply Quote Link to post

Growth plates intact if it has a tiny imbalance it will grow into it and adapt to it so it will just be as it was born that way and evolve its biomechanics to suit its body. 1 Quote Link to post

It is different to almost any other dog breed in that respect, the free running can never be replaced later. It is more important than good food if push comes to shuv.
