My pals dog got hit by a van as a pup and broke its leg in a few places.

The dog is now 3 year old and lamps every week with obvious problems, and catches it's fair share.

Hope yours makes a full recovery

Should heal well mate, be so young with still soft bones.

All the best with it

Not always mate, my uncles spaniel bitch has never been the same since his old spaniel flattened it when it was a pup and broke it's leg.

Touch wood for the lad that you are right mind.

That's right mate, you can always get the exception but I've always been led to believe when they are young and healthy have better chance of full recovery

A running dog needs to run free from 10 weeks old and learn to gallop. It is different to almost any other dog breed in that respect, the free running can never be replaced later. It is more important than good food if push comes to shuv. Its not the break thats the problem really but the timing of it.
