bigmac 97kt 13,788
Well si came to mine the other day And dropped off the verminator mk2 177 He has had to much work on and could not find the time to sort it out for me, It was nice to see him it's been a while since I last saw him Any way we arranged for me to go to his for a week ends shooting So I tried to sort it out my self and failed miserably lol Frustrated I called Sean (vislauk) After a few phone calls he sayd bring it over I took it to the rfds to get it crono, d and it was doing 315 fps 1,77fb I should explain at this point The rifle developed bottle wobble and when you tighten the bolt up that locks the bottle in place the power drops off a lot And the cocking arm becomes notchey and some times would not push forward at all BUT if you slackened the bolt off the power came back and it was smooth to cock again but the wobble comes back It had my head battered I can tell you Any way Sean stripped it down but with the verminator it's not just Lossen the stock and take it off You have to first slacken the trigger blade then screw off the air bottle Then remove the front air chamber then unscrew the screw and remove The stock, Now Sean took every thing off the action took the spring out and had a good look at every thing and put every thing back together and tightened every thing back up Tight real tight result Spot on no wobble power is just under 12 and so so smooth to cock Highest it was before was 737fps 9 something fb I'm so so happy this is sorted It's one of my favs is this fx verminator mk2 in 177 flavour Thanks Sean so much mate Atvbjimmy Ps and si brought my pard 008 back to Just hope it don't feck with my head again lol 5 Quote Link to post
vizlauk 1,568
Done & dusted in less than 10 minutes, I was surprised it was doing 1.77 lb ft with a 7.33g pellet when tighterned, and low 9lb ft when the bolt was loose, very similar action to my old fx streamline, so its easy when you know what your doing And your welcome Jimmy. 4 Quote Link to post
