mush 204
There was one big fault with hancocks and a lot of salukis , and there crosses, and that was socialising. 1 Quote Link to post
New moon 250
The fault is nearly always with the buyer, example, attempting to buy a worker from 2 non workers. Quote Link to post
mush 204
Agree a lot of the time but not always. 1 Quote Link to post

He was having a coffee break and looked out the kitchen window and saw the dogs in their runs and told me his son had Deerhounds, turned out to be Trevor. Ive never met him, but I was after a deer grey about 13 years ago, sired by Doxhope Knights Errant to a sister to Westmead Hawk, so I spoke to Bill Doherty about the sire. He told me he sold his Deerhounds to Trevor, who now owned the stud dog. I got the only brindle bitch in the litter, and she gave me 12 good years. I don't think Trevor has the dogs now. The pup I have now has both Doxhope and Cookland deerhound on the sire side. Cheers. 1 Quote Link to post

I think Bronson was his stud?I wonder what happened to his dogs, my mate lives on the same estate, I will ask.Used to be quite a few decent deerhound lurchers up there. 3 Quote Link to post
