I well remember the debates in parliament about banning hunting.

A labour MP said it wasn't about animal welfare, it was about giving Tory toffs in red coats a bloody nose ! It was political and class hatred, nothing to do with hunting.

The debate centred around fox hunting.....barely a mention of hare coursing, stag hunting , mink hunting etc, and the paradox is that fox hunting didn't stop, but all the rest were banned !

If you ask the man on the street what the ban was about, they will answer fox hunting.

The rest of us were simply collateral damage.

Cheers.

such  a wise, sensible, and true statement, spoken by you sir,my sentiments exactly ,as you have stated the rest of us were   hung out to dry, atb.

Stone me if anyone actually gets " offended " by that then for f**k sake dont leave the house....ever !......wrong,yes....but hardly anything to get excited about is it !

Big deal. I am so shocked and offended I am going for a lie down. Does this footage merit making BBC news?  Do me a favour.

It's a fuucking horse. Sometimes a slap is needed, it's not like hitting a puppy ffs.... yeah she should be taken into account for that shit though ? Not by a charity mind! Fuucking ARSEPCA.

This woman has done over the bit that most of us have ?‍♂️ Who hasn't slapped (in context strength/force) a dog/horse/cat/ferret/etc on the nose?

I've had mine tap dancing on a steel sheet, attached to the mains (110V) with running water showering over him (I had to tie him to in place of course, he tried to run on the first attempt), ballsy muthafucka lasted 15 mins before he buckled ?

I also had a dream this morning that I poisoned him with ricin and moved next door to Camelot theme park. Never watching The Iceman before bed again ???

Edit; it was cyanide not ricin ?‍♂️

This is why people refer to the hunting act 2004, as the fox hunting ban

Sometimes I think we can be too sensitive to Sabs. I've been shouted at, screamed at and had death threats online because of my participation in various field sports. So what? Water off a ducks back. They are entitled to their opinions, I honestly believe that.

For example my Mrs put a photo of a salmon I'd caught on Facebook. It was the last salmon I could legally catch and kill before the river changed to catch and release. My Mrs found herself on the wrong end of  some vegan outrage. She was upset at their prejudice. I honestly couldn't care less. Its,a free  country, you can express an opinion. Let's not be snowflakes. We need to get thicker skins.

With respect though mate they're not sabs, they're just antis. Sabs come out specifically to sabotage your sport with a secondary objective of provocation to enable them to gather evidence for assault/criminal damage prosecution. They're also out to gather as much intelligence on anyone involved as possible so they can direct social media attacks against individuals and businesses.

They're f***ing scum.

I've got plenty of time for antis, especially ones who can control their emotions. But sabs, by definition, are militant.

It can be a bit far though when folk are having their street cordoned off and bomb disposal brought in or getting razor blades posted through the letterbox claiming to have deadly substances on them.

Maybe I spoke out of turn and did blur the distinction between sabs and antis. Fair enough, you live and learn.

Happened to some of my older mates who were exposed to the News of the World years ago for lurcher work, once they were named and shamed they had all that to deal with by the cnuts, not a nice feeling when you have young children at home.

This makes interesting reading.

Some observations -

She is a hunt follower but referred to as a hunts woman or part of the hunt. She is no more a part of the hunt than the muppets battering each other outside a pub on a Friday night over football are part of the premier league.

It is hardly a case of “horrific abuse” but also she’s a bit of a dinlo as she must have known that the sabs were out filming and she does that in full view ........

As much as there are far worse things going on in the world, there isn’t really an excuse for that. That’s not using a firm hand to control the horse, that’s a woman losing her rag cos it’s not doing what she wants and laying about it like an angry child. But like the difference between smacking your kids bum cos they have miss behaved and punching them because they won’t do what you say and you’ve had a sense of humour failure over it. Flailing your legs and arms about booting and slapping it isn’t any form of control it’s just losing your rag and being a muppet. No great harm to the pony but unnecessary especially in public.

The fact she’s an employed primary school teacher makes it a little Difficult to label her a toff, that’s just daft shit that’s been stirred up by tabloid muppets to try to divide folk and “bash the rich”....... if we are doing that then this weekend a “toff” slapped a horse and some “council estate chavs” beat their week old baby to death breaking 50 of its bones. Don’t think either are to do with class ?
