To me you're just asking for trouble by mixing something with the intensity of an APBT and using them like that. yes; have a look. they where specifically bred to try and remove the dog aggression of the pit bull and also not be man biters

Greb147 6,809
I know breeds like Akitas can be dangerous to people even though ours have been great with kids. I trusted our Akitas a hell of a lot more than my brothers American Bulldog, even though it was never aggressive to me or any of the immediate family it just had the look that it could flip at any time. One day I was taking it out for a walk with my ex birds kid and in the house and outside it was fussing him, sound as a pound. I let the kid in the back seat and opened the boot to let the dog in, once he jumped in the dog flipped out, snarling over the kids and it would have crushed his skull like a grape if it got hold. Never seen owt like that before, where did that come from.

Greb147 6,809
It just shows you the attitude of some of the owners that these dogs attract. By all accounts it was known as being man aggressive which should have set the alarm bells ringing for anyone with an ounce of sense, instead it's been pissed from pillar to post when it should have knocked on the head.

downsouth 7,248
They come in many shapes sizes and colours because they are not a breed they are just a mish mash of who knows what.A pal of mine went to a protection dog trainer the other week and said there was a handful of young wannabe gangsters there with them and unfortunately the trainer was happy enough to take their 40 quids to help teach them to bite. 1
gnasher16 30,095
I remember a while back seeing a lad with a beautiful looking dog and asking him if it was an Irish Stafford ...he laughed at me and said it was a XL Bully...." whats that " i said and he didnt seem to know himself but it was in some shape and an impressive looking dog. What breed/breeds do they actually consist of then ?
