Well I think some good stuff is coming out of it, huge sums for industry to go green, shell has a bigger footprint than Russia is interesting fact. 400 private jets getting all the elite there was a bit of a piss take. But I'd say a large percentage of cash which is to stop poorer countries going to coal will go missing but its progress......

We have Jeff Bezos .... head of Amazon, telling people that farming needs to sort it self out and change. The man runs Amazon, ffs, and spent 5.5bn to launch a rocket so he could have 10 mins at the edge of space.

There are 400 private planes at the event. Plus they flew in heavy 4x4 vehicles to do short runs about the place ?

Oh yer it’s deffo the cows farts that are destroying the world ..... that and tractors ?

Is anyone else listening to the shite being spouted by the great and good at  COP26 and getting wound up by it? The utter hypocrisy and crap is worse than ever. And even worse is the majority of the general public is buying it .........

Without even looking I can tell you it’s going to go like this……

Every big industry run government in the world will make a load of vague promises about meeting a certain target of some sort decades into the future and then continue to crack on like before.

They will use these vague targets as an excuse to rinse hundreds of pounds extra every year from the ordinary bloke because that’s “doing something” and use this new found windfall to carry on giving China a hundred billion quid while China continues to burn 4 gazillion tons of coal every year.

Investeors in mining companies will buy a condo in the Caribbean with all the money they make from batteries for electric cars and Fred Bloggs of Scunthorpe will be forced into thousands of pound of debt he can’t afford and made to buy one.

Is that about the strength of it ?

If they stop paving over all the grass farming will have no more impact than it’s had for the other 10,000 years !

I’m more talking about where they are pointing the blame mate..... and where they aren’t !

Apparently  agriculture is the second biggest polluter after coal powered fire stations ?

I’ll just leave the below photo there .....

I’m not in the least bit educated and I know that planet earth as a machine works…..if you stop throwing spanner’s in the machine.

Soil, trees, grass, plants, crops and animals will all perfectly balance each other out…..they work as a perfect circle.

What they can’t do is destroy all the plants and soil with concrete and brick boxes then blame farming a animals for too many emissions……everything was working prior to the party donor developer turning up.

Theres an angle to blaming farming, I just can’t quiet work it out yet.

Are they though ?

A recent poll found 93% wanted a referendum on "net zero".

I think Boris is going to get a huge shock before the next General Election, and when the pollsters tell him the Tories are going to lose big because people think the cost of "net zero" is unaffordable, he will do another of his "u" turns.

Cheers.

They could ban palm oil and importing South American beef (two of the biggest causes of deforestation killing the lungs of the planet) at the stroke of a pen……but they don’t.

Putting £20 on your tank of fuel (with the accompanying revenue) is a much better thing to do obviously !! Lol

A return flight from Europe to USA for one person produces about 0.8 tons of carbon. So a family of four going to Disney and back would produce 3.2 tons of carbon on just the flights ......

Thibk if all of those x Atlantic business flights .....

Yer it’s deffo the cows.

A single new build 3 bed semi is 50 tons of carbon to build before you even wire it up to the power or put a car on the drive !!

Do the maths !
