Popular Post FUJI 17,324
I know many of you on here will have seen my sidekick Ruby the Pomeranian alongside my running dog's on many of my post's over the year's,sadly I had to have her put to sleep back on August 17th of this year at 15 year's of age, even 2 weeks before she died we were up hiking in the Highlands of Scotland in the Arrochar Alps..sadly the old girl went downhill quite rapidly & it was a very hard day for me when I took her to the vet's as she was my shadow, where I went, she went that's just how it was, they said she hadn't been in the vets since 2006 when she had her jabs for parvo/distemper so she had a very healthy & long life ..her & Boots were my A-Team,she was a little dog with a big heart, brilliant hunter & she wasn't shy to get stuck into anything the big dogs put to rest..I'd give up every dog I've ever owned including my best running dog's to have her back but I guess nothing lasts forever as they say..the old girl may have gone but the memories she left me will only die when I die..for one dog,she was some dog..Pom Power forever 41 6 Quote Link to post

beamish78 142
sometimes you end up owning a dog that "Just Fits" had 2 in my lifetime, enjoyed every minute of my time with both of them, don't get me wrong some of the other dogs of the past were half decent dogs and probably better at their job but there was something with these two that just made them special. Chin up mate, everything comes to an end but on the plus side who knows what the future holds. 4 Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,324
From John O'Groats to the south coast, the offshore isles too we travelled & hunted it all,not always successful but we gave it our best shot..nowhere was ever too far, nowhere was to difficult for us to reach be it by foot,by car or by boat,we just went in pursuit of our quarry be it through hell or high water,no exceptions & no excuses from us 17 Quote Link to post

Probably not, just like all lurchers aren't equal..she got to see a lot & I guess that certainly helped in making her the dog that she was 21 Quote Link to post
