That's incredible, looks like by eight in the evening the house had about filled up with gas, it has to be above and below a certain point. A friend of mine said as a youngster he'd been sent out to a suspected gas leak did some test for this old dear and it was below a danger point and he couldn't find any obvious leak. 3am another call got there and old dear had a gas fire on full blast and the gas content in house was too high to ignite , so it had gone through the blow up stage with out blowing up, he discovered the boiler had been serviced or part replaced and it had been over tightened and pinched the small bore pipe, said someone was looking out for him a very lucky lesson learnt....

Any updates on this ?.....tried to Google it but nothing new apart from they dont seem to know if it was definitely gas or not.....did everyone get out alive etc ?

The father and the youngest child are off the critical list but the mother and oldest boy of 16 are fighting for their life's they're in a really bad way, 28 families still out of they're homes, no one been allowed back for clothing bank cards or even to tend to pets, the four houses in the pic are in the process if being demolished  and structural engineers are assessing surrounding properties, the 2 kids are 11 and 16 really hope they all make a recovery
