Most Out Of One Hole..!

Recommended Posts

Not done much ratting myself but most foxes from an earth was 7, dog, vixen and 5 good sized cubs, it was on a job for a farmer who needed a lamb killer sorted so they all had to go, would prefer to see them get away with the hope of meeting them again in future, but don’t always work out the way you’d like especially if you want to keep your permission, atb

Out of a one holer or one warren?

It was a single tube two holer. Smoker in one end, couple bolted and were caught, then smoker off and she scratched it big enough to get her fat head in and kept pulling them out. After about 12 we let Darrens border do the same and then back with my bitch. Only wish we'd of filmed it...! ?‍♂️

She looks impressive, the best type of bitch to have are the ones with an head like a dog imo, atb

Should have wrote my preferred type rather than best type as I’ve seen small headed bitches do a good job plenty of times....easy to get lost in translation in written text, atb

We’re keen to introduce our 2 year old Jack Russell to ratting.
We’re based in East Devon. Are there any local groups or anyone that can teach us / her the ropes?

We have a rat infestation and are looking for help getting rid of them.  Our neighbour was feeding rats on thier property (!) and built up an impressive population.  When she stopped feeding them they moved into our stable/barn area and there are now too many for my cat to keep up with.  We don't want to use poison because of our cat and Labrador.  Is there anyone around the Anglesey area with a dog or ferret that can help? Not asking for a freebee  - happy to pay.

Hello, would just like a few pointers from the more experienced members than me on the best way or their particular methods of breaking terriers to livestock? I have a relative that keeps poultry on an allotment that would let me take my pup through, but he’s 5 months now and like most working bred terriers he’s feisty and excited by fur and feather. I wouldn’t want any nasty mistakes to happen so any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello there. I have a jack Russell pup coming in the next few weeks when he is ready to leave his mother. He’s from working stock and I am hoping to try him out when he’s ready. I would just like to get some advice or pointers from people on here as to what sort of diet you think is best for working terriers? I Want to keep him in best condition I can, strong and healthy. All comments very much appreciated.
