Squirrel feeders ?

Was told over in the trapping section I should come over here about this. Any of y'all happen to have some pics of the squirrel feeders y'all build and use ? Got some bottoms and hollers I'd like to put a few in .

We're going to put it out in a few 

Days 

Top it up then go back every two days to check there feeding from it 

Then hit them hard if they are 

Not finished yet mind but will be by the time we get it out

What are you using for a lid ? Wont they chew thru it ?

110 mm end cap , just lift off to fill up 

some of this type have been out about four years and not one bit of damage.

Ours are very similar to Villaman's design but we use aluminium tube about 4 - 5 feet long which holds enough feed for approx 5 - 7 days depending how hungry they are and the top caps are .22 pellet tins which are a push fit and need replacing every year as they go rusty.  No matter how intent the squirrels are, they cannot get into our feeders.

Here's one of ours we have set up on a estate between the keepers  pheasant feeders , them little ratchet straps help to do the job too securing them to the trees too ,this was taking from earlier today .

Ooof I actually forgot about this post thanks a ton guys recon I'll build some out of piping think I can get a 10' stick of 4" dia for like $23

Talking to a fella last year ,he buys the small metal pedal bins  takes the pedal and components out  it which enables  feed to come out  and attaches plywood to the bottom  puts wood on the back to attach to trees also finishes them off by spraying.Looked good but I,ll stick with the wood ones there cheaper for me
