alright mate only my opinion everyone would like to inprove on something in there dog even though we dont like to admit it. It may be a bit of extra speed bit more brains more haert the lists goes on most of urse have a rough idea what we would like to improve on the only person who could tell urse what cross to sire are bitches is are self coz each different type of lurcher can add diferent quality into what we already got like i said only my opinion best of luck finding the right dog :thumbs:

PURE SALUKI........ :whistling::whistling::laugh::laugh:

Only kidding mark :thumbs: like has already been said i would take a honest look at your bitch and look at the area's where you think she isnt as strong and try breed this into the pups i.e speed, stamina etc :victory:

Best of luck with whatever you choose ;)

put a whippet grey back or a bedlington grey, that way you arent really adding any new breeds, so youve a good chance or a litter very similar to each other, but you will benefit, only an opinion, but worth thinking about

thing is i dont want anything to big maximum 23 inch and light dont want a heavy dog,my main quarry is rabbit and weve got a lot of small fields
ive got a fell colliewhippetgrey put back to a whippetgrey, showing excellent potential, light fast loads of stamina, xellant turn easy to train, the bloke who bred her said put her back to a whippet grey and hes bred same line for 20 years, regularly doing 40 plus rabbits a night, and not myx, just my opinion, but at 23.5 inches she is perfect, and should take bigger quarry and long ears

I agree with you ,if you are satified that your bitch is good enough to breed from ,you have to stand back and try objectively to see her weak points,wether they are lack of,speed ,stamina,agility,biddability,whatever ,try to find a sire who is strong where you perceive your bitch to be weak ,and hopefully they will complement each other,thats my view.
