Wolfdog91 7,099
Asked some of my online freinds on one of my chats ( forgetting not everyone lives in the middle of nowhere like me) if they ever been in bed , had a bit if trouble sleeping hear the owls n' coyotes out singing and just decided to go sit on the porch in their pj's for abit and just listen. Told em there was something about it I can't explain. Once your eyes adjust you can see the possums or other critters lingering around , bats flying ,hear all the crickets and what not. Said it's just nice I reckon...feels like it's good for something don't know what though, puts the mind a ease regardless... Lot of em said no but sounded relaxing. Some said it bordered on the spiritual ,others just said it must be nice not to hear traffic 24/7. Perks of living in the middle of nowhere I reckon, guess it makes up for my crappy Wifi 9

I live in the middle of nowhere too. And I've just spent the better part of an hour on the phone to my internet company, trying to resolve the shit I've been getting lately! Greb147 6,809
Our lass used to work with some folk who lived next to Yorkshire Wildlife Park which holds lions, they were complaining about them roaring at night. I think that would be amazing listening to them at night, the best we have is the neighbours dogs and the swifts.

I reckon them lions would be nice for bit but they probably end up like yotes here, yeah every now and then is beautiful but when it's every night for hours on end every full moon you poked out the window with the .243
Ken's Deputy 4,460
I could do without lions! Fukk That! For ever thinking; " They Are still locked in, aren't they?! " Actually, my internet's bloody brilliant, 99.9% of the time. Can't really fault it. Just, this last few weeks or so, I've noticed irritating little niggles with the modem? Interestingly though, knowing these things (and SIM's) can and do 'get old', I checked: I'm due an upgrade on Nov' 28th! So, yeah, probably is on its last legs. They're sending me a new SIM, today, too Just to take that out of the equation. Wildlife, round here? Just the foxes, really. Red ones. I feed them every night. Got one that waits for me like a little dog. I also put my trail cam out, most nights. But, that's gone to rat shit lately. I suspect it barely films half of what moves about out there. Porn? LOL! Young man like yourself will probably think I'm joking; But, believe it or not? The curiosity Does actually wane with a certain age. I'm happy with a good film, these days. Bit of tit's always nice. But, that's just so I don't feel I'm being nannied by the fukking provider
dytkos 17,802
We got country on 3 sides, birds singing etc on those, tractors, caravans and motorbikes/cars on the other. Wouldn't change it for the world Cheers, D.
