Folk who don't have a care or thought for the damage their every day lives are taking on this planet, like some folk on here sort of claiming to be countryfolk yet doing nothing to help the envioment. The masses are everyone as this planet ain't getting fcuked through the actions of just a few folk Francie and it just about sums up modern man when he has all he has on this world and yet it still ain't enough..

What do you expect people to do tho fireman?

People have to live there lives, you cant bang everyone into one section,as you dont know what folk are doing to 'save' the planet.

Us lads are just run of the mill lads trying to live an survive, its the big corporations an big buisness that's doing all the damage not the 'masses'.

What are you doing to save the planet then?even tho theres f**k all the average bloke can do but but stop littering?

There earth is changing like it has for 'millions' of years, what makes you think you can stop the universe from doing what it's doing?

100%.

World governments are constantly trying to switch the responsibility to individuals. When in practice nothing we can do will make any difference in any way. One policy change from government such as banning the importation of unnecessary plastic products, supporting British food production rather than importing it, producing things like steel at home rather than buying from China and India etc etc would instantly do more real good than making us feel guilty and pay more.

Sad fact is 'climate emergency' is now another control tool and business opportunity ?

Just 100 companys are responsible for 71% of carbon emissions

Woah wtf have you the list mate?

See this is my gripe, all the wankers of the day looking down on us,blaming us trying to make us feel guilty an telling us to stop this that blah blah

As dido says its s climate 'tool' for control, that's why I dont trust governments constantly lying an trying to subvert us.

f***ing parasites

Britain’s a funny old place……. some peaceful people sit down in the road to make a point about something they care about and we want them smashed to bits because they are all the c**ts under the sun……

A load of foreigners and their pets smash the gaff to bits, vandalise our history, call us all rude names, force everyone to grovel about on their knees and we all stand and clap them in our tens of thousands.

Bizarre !

The Aussies are now arresting people for unsanctioned protests... Funny old world isn't it?

You get what you ask for as they say mate ;)

I posted the link in the Covid thread if you want to read it, but they're upto 270 arrests.

I understand the frustration at these kinds of protests but the reactions concern me. Public opinion wants a crackdown on the protestors and the government respond... Then when it's something important they use the same legislation to crackdown on the protestors...

Careful what you wish for. Especially when only one side is armed.

The crafty fekers to my knowledge have lumped it all together the crime and policing bill as every one in their right mind would like to see harsher sentences for serious crimes but not on our rights to protest.

Australia is a first world country which is making their reaction quite interesting. I don't know if it's made much news in the UK, it was barely a blip in the US, but their society failed when they deployed soldiers to assist the police.

What comes out the other side will be very different. For the worse. But the people seem to be cheering them on as their rights are eliminated... There's a meme in there somewhere.

Worrying isn't it? Most people believe it can't happen at home... until it does.
