I obviously shot one as a kid but can’t remember how good I was with it. I do sometimes get the urge to shoot another milbro but not at that price..

Think it was the bands that were the problem not the fork, have fitted them with flats and modern tube and they work fine mate, you can still get them cheap without the box and split plugs which you wouldn’t want anyways if your planning on using it rather than collecting it

theres some modern ally repro milbros on ebay for under 15 quid now. ive even seen a couple try bieng passed off as vintage recently. 

i got one of the repros it was a fun catty and quite nice but far too narrow forks for me to be consistent.

I have one of them goliath catapults i think they call them and remember buying my first millbro about 71 they are not a patch on the modern frames and elastic imho.

I reckon with the range of catapults these days and some of the hand made catapults wich some are nothing short of works of Art imo there will be avid collectors these days of catapults and the original millbro must be a price worth paying for some collectors.
