Neal 1,888
A friend of mine told me the embarrassing story of when she was getting in the weekly shop with her toddler strapped into the seat in the front of the supermarket trolley. The toddler, as many do, shouted out what treats it wanted but, as many of them do, couldn't pronounce it properly and turned it into a spoonerism: Mummy I want cockporn!

Sorry, Chris. Been wrapped up with talking to Amazon. I take it that was directed at me? Frankly? I can't see too much problem housing either. I like the look ~ and price ~ of the upright one. But, will it produce more than a cup at once? I'm having a complete blitz here ~ again ~ and thinking how to Further utilise dead space. Popper would just be swallowed up in all the new storage room. Looking at the picture you posted you have several devices in varying sizes that will already fit your needs. Pan. Lid. Ingredients. Bigger pan. More finished product. Saying that if you want to purchase a niche item for the sole purpose of making it as always it's your call but as a dad of three I've made a shit ton of the stuff over the years for my kids and their mates using a saucepan, a lid, and the kernals. Up to you though.
Ken's Deputy 4,460
Chris; That's all my curry gear, mate! Left to right: Deep frying pan (no lid). Big, round thing in the middle is a Tawa. Flat pan for making Chapatti's. But, yeah; For twenty / thirty quid? I'd like to get a purpose made machine. You've obviously missed my curry thread! I make shit loads, boil your rice, tip into sieve rinse with freshly boiled water to get rid of the starch, leave to drain for at least twenty minutes, put into wok with hot oil, crack a few fresh eggs in, and add some of this soy sauce, it'll not taste right with that imposter juice
low plains drifter 10,884
I haven't got round to this yet, but watched an American fella out camping fry some bacon then later on heated the fat up and added some of these, buggers were like gremlins pouring out of the pan

Ken's Deputy 4,460
Well, I'm having a hard night here Ordered the popcorn machine I showed ye above. That's due here tomorrow. The actual Corn is impossible to get! No kunt does it on Prime. Supermarket in town doesn't do it. I got 'lucky' with the whole food shop. But, their last three 500g bags cost me 3.50 each!!! Worst of all? I was Praying that my last mallow twists might last me till tomorrow. Another Kg. arriving then. Had to take it easy on them. Then, walked in here. Found the fukking dogs had knocked the pot over and scoffed the fukking lot!!! So, now? My plan is to wing it through to tomorrow. Pig out on marshmallows, once the postman arrives. Then, tomorrow night? Pop me a shit ton of popcorn and treat myself to " Man On Fire " for about the two millionth time, shovelling popcorn down my throat! I know how to Live! Boy oh boy! Were you ever Totally and Completely wide of the mark on This one?!? Eight months to the day later, and look what's just arrived! That's just what it looks like! A 25kg sack of golden goodness! And, it's arrived right in the nick of time. Because I'm down to just Tonights ration, from my earlier buy of Two, 11.34 kg bags which I'd initially grabbed to keep the Doglets and I going! " Under sink cupboard "?! I'll have you know, that Bad Muvva Fukka has seen seamless service since day one here! Every Single Night since it arrived, we've had our popcorn! It's great! I scoff the guts of a 'gallon' bucket. I always save a handful for the Dogs. Then, when the film and I are finished, into the kitchen where I chuck their bowl full into the air! They Love it! It hits the ground and spreads out across the room. Three snuffling, snaffling Dogs set too. Never so much as a murmur of disagreement from them. They all just gobble up what ever they can, often from under each others noses. Then, it's out for a break. We do Love our Traditions, here! But no, seriously; Definitely right up there with my all time Best Buys! One of those things that, if it broke tonight? I'd be fukking bereft, until Amazon could get me another one!
