Keep it lean with saline solution The best tenner i have ever spent on a dog in my life was buying a jar of that, truely a gift from the gods that every working dog owner should have in the first aid box.... 2 Quote Link to post
3dumb 219
+1 for honey on it after cleaning. The ph level promotes healing, and cos of the sugar, bacteria cannae grow. Draws fluids out the wound as well. My ex had to stitch and glue me up a few times and she'd always put honey on the gauze that covered it.. ive sworn by it since. Hope he heals well. Atb. I didn't know honey expired, didn't they find some in the pharaohs tombs that was still ok? 2 Quote Link to post

whitefeet4190 1,729
How much do u think of the poor dog ? If u can’t do it urself then pay the prices and get a decent vet to sort it out, all this messing about is just making the dog out of work for longer, the skin will need cutting back and it will be a bigger job than needs be if left 1 Quote Link to post
