Preferred bands

Just curious to see what people's favourite bands are to use and thickness? Also what ammo to match!!?? I'm using 1mm gzk atm with 10mm lead and having decent results. What you lads prefer?

Only use tubes nowadays, 1842 looped with 8.7mm steel, very accurate and with good shot placement will kill everything i hit.

I don't use any higher than 0.65 in any brand of elastic unless its snipersling yellow then I use 0.70 all tapered 18-23 using 8.7mm steels I hunt really well with this layout accuracy kills

I like the bullet bands from catty shack 1mm .

Normally theraband gold 35 to 30mm taper with 9.5 steel on a ppmg frame used this set up few years now seem to hit a very good percentage of my shots

These powerful bands must affect your accuracy. I was just shooting .5 black on one catapult and .5 yellow on the other, my accuracy was more consistent on the yellow which is lighter a draw. There’s  definitely a trade off between the two for me. It’s surprised me how much the bands draw weight was causing me to miss.
