See what you think of it on the Wildwood.com site link mate. To be honest I would not encourage the fungi in household plants. But still interesting. Yes Fred could well be a Penny bun / Cep but a job to tell. Keep an eye out in the same area for more. Heres is a big one o found today the only one I had so big I had to cut in half to get it in the basket 9 inches across. Few little maggots in it but Penny Bun/Ceps are such good mushrooms I'm going to eat it or cut it up and dry it. Should cut white and stay white. Should have white sponge turning olive as it get old. Stinkhorn WWW.WILDFOODUK.COM This mushroom first appears as an egg, partly submerged in the surrounding substrate with a jelly like feel. The mushroom then (slowly) bursts out and forms...
