I did on this and I do for this employer, it's viewed as treachery within oil and gas industries, food and process they expect you to do both , I'm determined not to go back to process for as long as possible. Which I get , it's definitely two separate trades and I can't do what the top fitters are capable of but I can do what 95% of fitters can. I like doing a bit as I don't enjoy the welding as much these especially with the eyes not what they were. It engages the mind a bit and gets me walking about a bit more as standing at a bench all day is crap. This company is mostly orbital so may get involved with that shortly.
