I just tamped it up, looked ok, then the lad who’s job it is came and floated it off, I showed him what I did in the back of the shed yesterday with the same float and he couldn’t see any difference ( lol ) I think a trip to specsavers for him

I miss mowing and muck spreading. Keep thinking I'll ask about and find a bit of evening work just to get out in a tractor again

There is already duck coming in, the wild flowers won’t do loads this year, but once they have seeded the next growth should be spot on, we will have the pond to plant up over the summer so I’ll get some pictures next time I’m back to see how it’s moved on, she has just got some funding ( I think from the woodland trust ) to plant a small wood at the back of the pond, so we’ll be putting them in as well over the winter
