Morning in the Woods surprising the amount of leaves still on the trees, mind the Beech were dropping theirs like snow after the early frost.

I do like ferreting woods.

Before anybody asked only a brace getting bit thin on the ground.

I’ve never come across that, they have brought loads of new products out to look after it, anti bacterial shampoos, people think that once it’s down, that’s it, but you need to look after it, keep it clean and brush it, some that I’ve put down a couple of years ago still look new because it’s been looked after, the one I repaired today has been down about 6 months and it looks terrible, covered in bird sh*t and full of weeds

I’ve genuinely witness someone out hoovering there’s we thought it was hilarious at the time which it was but is that something that’s involved in maintenance

self cleaning by sun rays sounds as much bullshit as self cleaning glass on conservatory roofs they don’t have window wipers for bird shit same as solar panels

My mate’s wife hoovers theirs and it stands the pile back up, I wouldn’t recommend it because once you put it down you put a lot of kiln dried sand on it and the more you hoover it the more sand you take out of it, I’d just recommend to brush it against the pile with a stiff yard brush ?
