leegreen 2,221
My work day so far, + photo for yo's. I've just come indoors because it started raining. Found out whilst bailing out my ali work punt, my 3 year old wellies have a hole in. Now about to go online to buy another pair, Decathlon funny enough. So far this morning I did the boat, walked the dogs. Pulled 30 plus mixed whips from the ground under a set of big conifers. The Woodies that roost in them have probably planted the seeds, they were Hawthorn and Dog Rose. I will replant them this afternoon after I do my wellie shopping and I need to buy a map for a Biodiversity plan. I may have a nap before I do my planting . The picture is out the window of our shop/office. It's 4lb Ghostie caught yesterday, I am planning to eat it. A customer caught it on a G/h Daddy. He asked me what he should do with it, I said "smash its head in" After that photo, the Robin started pecking its bum 'ole 2 1

Stavross 16,234
Grass has arrived 4 hours late and in two full rolls instead of four, so had to roll it out and cut it, now it’s got to be laid out for a couple of hours before we start putting it down, it’s going to be a late one

Borr 6,526
I was in Swansea docks earlier in the week installing a bridge on a shrimp farm, great place apparently used to be a mussel farm for over a decade but shite from the river contaminated the area so often it became untenable as a business , now they're gonna import shrimp from the states and grow them on , but seemed so appalling that the water companies have put pay to a fantastic home grown product Welsh mussels. I was told bass numbers were great when they had the mussels because the ropes etc created a good habitat even held mackerel in the bay , such a phenomenal place ruined by incompetent water companies....
