Starting a bit of a fencing job up at a shoot today, lovely spot by the river Tees, this is where all the poor farmers shoot, it’s an eye watering amount of money to be in the syndicate

What a job ! You must be loving your new lifestyle, see more interesting stuff in a week, than a lot of people see in a year!

Spent a week on a barge as a kid travelling on the Leeds Liverpool and it went through all sorts of places, factories one minute proper rural the next and the wildlife never batted an eye. Decent air rifle you'd never need a butchers shop.

Lost count of the amount of kingfishers I saw, sika and roe just peering out the bankside foliage buzzards ,herons ,four sparrow hawks hunting the tow paths it has been great I done this one as a favour and for the experience but doing my calculations I am looking at doing it as a profession if you can get the work I could travel for about 3months of the year and bank around 20k at the current rates they charge, I have the tickets I need so only expense would be insurance, I see opportunities everywhere I go lol

I'm finishing up this week, I guess they thought they'd squeeze me onto a site I've refused all year , being that it's close to Christmas, but vote with my feet , got to hustle a bit now to get on a job. The joys of contracting.....

Dug out, stoned up and put some Aco’s in because the levels are to steep to take the water away from the house, just been told the paving won’t be here until the first week in December, bugger, so much for rapping in for the year
