Nice way to spend an evening Stav, I took the mutt for a lap of the moss before but it's still too hot here. If it was cooler I'd still be out there now coz I'm sick of this fecking house.

Gravel down today on the driveway of the everlasting job, the place looks a lot different from when we started about 18 months ago, still some Yorkshire stone to go down around the back of the house and possibly some foundation work for another building but they can wait

Busy old day today, first job putting in ducting and posts at a school for electric gates, second job at another school to replace a lamppost then off to my patio job to start putting the flowerbed edging in, hopefully this job will be done by Friday

View from my living room. Builders left it in when the extension went up and then recently gas bloke said it can't be there so new meter put outside and they couldn't get the old one out so I've had to go and buy a multitool and take it out.

Giving the foam plasterboard adhesive a go for the first time too.

Par for the course validation of an existing electrical installation this week. Whilst waiting for the chap giving us access to remember the code to switch room I got bored and starting nosing around. My work colleague asked what I was looking at and when told RATS he was horrified but assumed my interest was from an H&S perspective. No, I am always overjoyed to find evidence of a rat stronghold and the mind races... is it ferretable? Who do I need to speak to to get terriers in?

No ferrets now and only one old terrier, but old habits die hard 🙂 (it's f***ing CCTV covered anyway 😞 )

Bit of privacy for and from the neighbours , I wanted to do the lot properly when we moved in , but the wife thought it'd upset neighbours, after being here a while ,she was like build the wall..lol. I picked up 5' by mistake last week and came home to feather edge rather than waney so it doesn't match. Immediate neighbour seemed happy , the guy that built the deck must have wanted to tread the boards ,be on stage cause that's what it feels like , it's rotten now anyway and I'll be ripping it out within 2 yrs. Gonna get a survey or advice on how low I can go at the back of the house, then run step down to what will probably be a smaller , lower and more private patio with gazebo type thing I've already bought all the evergreen climbers , got a decent wisteria too and metal tube .

All the pheasant pen wire up and the chicken wire in at the bottom, now just got to put the bob holes in, a gate at the back of the pen, the elec fence and sort the drinker system out
