Daniel cain 45,846 Posted March 6, 2024 Report Share Posted March 6, 2024 Got 1 more course of bricks on the outside to do and point....then down to the garden centre with his wife to get some plants...told them to leave it settle and then put the fish in around May time...few goldfish and shubunkins maybe a few tench,ive placed a 900 x 500mm flag in the middle propped up on 4"concrete blocks as cover if any herons decided to visit,will have a little fountain sat on top of it 7 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I did a 16 x 8 ft and 2m deep one yrs ago out of fibre glass...it had a pearlescent final coat over it...was gonna be for koi...lad used it as a pool 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Daniel cain 45,846 Posted March 6, 2024 Report Share Posted March 6, 2024 Ive been toying with doing away with 1 block of old dog kennels at the back of my garden....sinking 4 of them 1000 L IBC tanks 2m apart , halfway into the ground,and joining them up using some old Nft grow tanks in-between as canals for the fish to swim between ...box it all in with deck boards , picture frame around the tops...
