Some stunners there, I fished a low stocked 50 acre estate lake for a few years after the original leneys became an obsession but they all came my way eventually the biggest came last can't find any pictures on phone but took these out of Chris balls book20240211_192330.jpg.6286d4c3a250b0129702a4247e06455e.jpg

They were massive fish size wise but not so heavy, stayed around 25lb for years then crayfish got in lake then they made just over 30.

I don’t mind a bit of fencing but I think after 12 weeks I wouldn’t want to see another fence board ever again ( lol )

Foundation for a sandstone wall today, builder said he wanted it 600 wide ( which is fine ) and 500 deep, I said “ you are building a garden wall not a fu*king house” so we’ve gone for 300, still almost 4 cube to do it the mixer

Tidy enough for not being a fencer…. You would be better with your top rail at the top of the post and then nailing your capping onto the top rail rather than nailing what looks like the capping onto the top of the slats make life much easier for yourself

Capping has a grove in it to sit over the boards, screw it on rather then nails, it keeps everything straight 👍
